Giving Back to the Community through Volunteer Activity and Contributions to Organizations and Individuals Needing Assistance

The Plymouth Lions Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Plymouth Lions Foundation are tax deductible, as allowed under the Internal Revenue Service Code.

Our Mission Statement: To create and foster a spirit of service to humanity among all people by providing Plymouth Lions Club voluntary assistance to our local communities, state, national and international projects.

Our Statement of Purpose: The purpose of the Plymouth Lions Foundation is to build a growing portfolio of investments which will continue to assist the Plymouth Lions Club in serving the visually and hearing impaired, as well as local community projects. The goal of the volunteer trustees of the Plymouth Lions Foundation is to minimize administrative costs thereby giving more back to the projects and communities we serve.

Your Donations: These are gathered with those contributed by members and our generous friends, neighbors and local businesses to form an endowment. The investment dividends and interest from the endowment are distributed each year to designated recipients in need of Plymouth Lions Foundation assistance.

No part of your gift to the Plymouth Lions Foundation will be used for compensation or administrative fees. The Board of Trustees of the Foundation has historically distributed nearly 100 percent of its generated funds to worthy causes within the community or among local, state and national Plymouth Lions Club service projects.
